THQ names Naughty Dog Co-founder as new President; Danny Bilson leaves

THQ has announced that Jason Rubin, co-founder of Naughty Dog, has been named the new president of the company effective immediately. Rubin, whose former company is behind the PS3 exclusive series Uncharted, has said to be hired as part of a new leadership restructuring reports The Verge. Rubin will now be responsible for all of THQ’s worldwide product development, marketing and publishing operations.
Danny Bilson, who was previously the company’s president of core games, will be leaving to “pursue other interests,” along with Dave Davis, senior VP of core games.
THQ currently has Darksiders 2, WWE 13, Metro: Last Light, South Park: The Stick of Truth along with a few other games in their line up for the foreseeable future.
