First season of Halo 4's Spartan Ops to be 50 missions

Little English Halo Blog has done some digging on Microsoft's Experzone, a website dedicated to informing retailers of Microsoft products. The site details lots of new information on the forthcoming Halo 4.
The game will feature ten new weapons, two new vehicles including many past favourites and multiplayer with "improved support to create, organize, and track groups." The most interesting piece of information concerns the Spartan Ops missions. The site lists the first season of Spartan Ops as being a set of five mission a week over a ten week period.
To save you the math that is fifty missions that can be played either solo or in multiplayer. That is a pretty nice chunk of additional content that may keep me occupied well after release.
