Resident Evil 6 Demo Coming to Xbox 360 first

With Resident Evil 6 set for release on November 20th, Capcom has announced an early demo for fans to play well before the game is released. Here is where it gets interesting. The early demo will only be available to Xbox 360 users who purchase Dragon's Dogma, which will be released on May 22nd. Access to the early demo will become available to those consumers on July 3rd.

PlayStation 3 users will eventually get access to the (slightly later) early demo on September 4th, given that they also purchase a copy of Dragon's Dogma. At some point an actual demo will probably be available that doesn't require the purchase of Dragon's Dogma but if you want it early you will have to pay.

Speaking to Boxon, Capcom says that the way they are handling the release of the Resident Evil 6 demo is a "a strategic business decision."
